Rooms are simple, plain. Air conditioning was not working so we had to open the window. Very noisy street sounds. Bar next door with noisy patrons until late in the night.

rooms (deluxe double) ok, spacious but on very noisy street especially on friday & saturday nights when we were there. hotel very near Milano Centrale train station hence our choice since we had to catch early morning trains.

rooms are very small, but decorated in lovely bright colours, which made it feel modern and funky. breakfast was the standard affair, but in a lovely lilac room. the only major problem was the noise from the outside. we were on the 2nd floor and could hear the loading and unloading from the street below, and from the surrounding streets..it sounded like rubbish trucks...but not sure, as the noise wnet on for a couple of hours...in the early morning!

The room next to mine the people were banging on the doors and walls. i called the front desk to have them take care of it. they did nothing. and then when i was checking out. they lost my reservation, and tried to over charge me. they were not too nice about it also.

We were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Everyone seemed to take a personal interest in our well-being. When we come back to Milan, we know where we will be staying.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From highway A8 Torino-Varese-Malpensa or highway A9 Como-Svizzera, follow the indications to Milano and exit at Milano Certosa. Continue straight until the Fiera Milano Portello road signs and turn left into viale Teodorico. Proceed along via Teodorico-Cenisio-Novo following the indications to stazione Garibaldi. At the end of the street, turn left and then right after the second traffic light. Follow along via Ferrari-Struzzo-Liberazione-Piazza della Repubblica. Go straight on and at the end of via Finocchiaro Aprile, turn left. Follow the indications for viale Tunisia and take first left via Settembrini and then second left via Napo Torriani. The first right is via Mauro Macchi.

From Venezia/Bergamo/Orio al Serio-Linate, Roma/Firenze/Bologna (highway A1) and Genova/Ventimiglia (on highway A7), follow the indications to the tangenziale est ring-road. Take the Palmanova/Linate/Lambrate exit towards Milano centro and proceed along via Rombon-Padova-Piazza Loreto-Buenos Aires. At the end of viale Buenos Aires turn right into via Boscovich and the fifth street on the left is via Mauro Macchi.

By train
The hotel is 200 metres/220 years from Milano Centrale railway station.

By airplane
The hotel is 20 minutes by taxi from the Milano Linate airport (taxi fare is €20,00) and 45 minutes from the Milano Malpensa airport (taxi fare is €75,00). A regular bus service for both airports is also avialable at/to Milano Centrale railway station.
Bergamo Orio Al Serio airport is an hour drive (taxi fare is €80,00) from the hotel.
